|| turkey burgers {thai style} & asian greens w/ garlic, ginger & fish sauce ||

one of my favorite sunday dinners from gwyneth paltrow’s ‘ it’s all good’ recipe book. i loooove this book!

ingredients
turkey burgers
1 pound of ground turkey
2 finely minced garlic cloves
2/3 c finely chopped cilantro
2 finely minced shallots
1 tsp red chilli flakes
2 tsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp sea salt
 1/2 tsp black pepper
olive oil

asian greens
1/2 c water
1.5 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
2 tbsp olive oil
3 minced garlic cloves
3 tsp finely minced ginger
1 pound of bok choy
pinch of sea salt

directions
turkey burgers
1. thoroughly mix ground turkey with garlic cloves, cilantro, shallots, red chilli flakes, fish sauce, sea salt & black pepper
2. form mixture into 4 burgers, each about 3/4 inch thick. rub each burger with oil and grill for about 8 minutes on the first side & another 5 on the second or until nicely marked & firm to the touch

asian greens
1. whisk together water, soy sauce & fish sauce and set aside
2. heat olive oil in a large pan in high heat. add garlic cloves & ginger & cook until they begin to sizzle
3. immediately add bok choy with sea salt
4. stir & coat with garlic & ginger then add the reserved soy sauce mixture and cook until greens begin to wilt- about 3 minutes
